Terms and Conditions of Trading


We may change anything on our website at any time, at our discretion.
We may restrict or suspend use of the website (for repairs, introduction of services or general maintenance). Where possible we will post warnings on the site first. We will try to do this no more than we have to, and keep the time of disruption as short as possible.

Your account

You can open an account with us by creating your own account login name and password which will enable you to access the information stored in your account. You must keep your account name and password confidential to prevent unauthorized users from having access to your account.
You must tell us immediately if you believe your account is being used without your authority.
Please check that all the information you give us for your account is accurate and complete, and inform us promptly if any of it changes. You are able to amend your details when you log on to your account.


Placing your order

When you place an order with us, you are offering to buy the goods you order. There is no commitment on us to supply those goods, at that price, or at all, until we decide to accept your order.
We will send an email to you to confirm that we have received your order and are processing it. That email is not a confirmation that we have accepted your order. There is no legally binding contract at that stage.
Goods are subject to availability. If we cannot meet your order from stock, we will make the products for you within a reasonable time, usually 2 – 3 working weeks. We will notify you by email if we cannot meet this.
If we become aware, after you have placed an order, that we cannot deliver it, or that the price or description is not right, we will then email you to tell you know, and you then have a choice to continue with the order (with the revised price or description) or, if you prefer, you can cancel the order (in whole or part).
When we have received your payment instructions we will process the order and will send an email to tell you we have accepted your order. There is then a binding contract. We remain free to decline all or part of your order at any time before we decide to accept it. We will send an email to tell you if we decide to decline your order (or part of it).




The price and delivery charges shown on site are an estimate only. They will be confirmed with your order which will be sent by email.
We quote the price exclusive of VAT. VAT, will be charged at the rate applying at the time of delivery. VAT is currently (September 2005) 17.5%.
The price quoted for the goods excludes delivery which will be charged according to the value of the order and the weight of the parcel.
We may deliver the goods in installments. Each installment is treated as a separate contract.


Delivery and Risk

Every effort is made to supply the quantities ordered, but we reserve the right to deliver within plus or minus 10%.
The goods are at your risk from the time of delivery.
Advice of faulty goods must be received with 14 days of receipt, otherwise the Company will not accept responsibility.
In the event of non-delivery, breakage or damage, no claim can be entertained unless notice of such reaches us with 14 days of dispatch.
Goods ordered in excess or error can only be returned with the Company’s agreement, and if agreed, will be credited less a re-stocking charge.
Goods are delivered on the express condition that they remain our property until paid for, the customer, in the meantime, is responsible for loss or damage.


Cancellation and Returns

In the event of cancellation, orders for specials will be charged according to the stage of production reached.
We may suspend or cancel the order if you fail to pay us any money when due.
On cancellation for whatever reason, you must return the goods to us at your cost. Where the goods are being returned because they are faulty, we will meet the cost of return.

Please contact our sales office to help process your returned goods quickly.
Returned goods will only be credited if returned in their original condition.
Goods accepted for return will be credited at the price on the date of invoice.


General Information

Nothing in these terms affects or limits our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation.
You have certain statutory rights as a consumer, which are not affected by these terms. Contact your local trading standards office for more information.
